Within this enclosure was located the first graveyard of Québec, where interments were made from the early days of the colony up to 1687.
Cette plaque, commémorant l'inhumation d'amérindiens et de pionniers français, a été restaurée par Parcs Canada. Elle fut inaugurée le 1er mai 1993, lors du dixième anniversaire de la Fédération des familles-souches québécoises inc.
In this place was the first cemetery of Quebec, where the burials were done from the first times of the colony until 1687.

This plaque, commemorating the burial of Native Americans and French pioneers, has been restored by Parks Canada. It was inaugurated on May 1, 1993, during the tenth anniversary of the Federation of Quebec Strains Families Inc.
