An einem Wanderweg auf der Dollendorfer Hardt wurde vor vielen Jahren ein Reitwegschild an einem Baum angebracht. Das hat dem Baum gar nicht gefallen, und so hat er im Laufe der Zeit das Schild einfach "aufgefressen". Inzwischen ist das Schild fast vollständig "verschlungen", nur noch das unterste Ende des Schildes ragt aus dem Baum heraus.

Die Dollendorfer Hardt ist mit 246 Metern Höhe der nördlichste Berg des Siebengebirges. Sie ist größtenteils bewaldet, am Westhang oberhalb von Oberdollendorf befinden sich Weinberge. Viele Wanderwege laden zum Erkunden der Natur ein.
Many years ago a bridle path sign was attached to a tree on a hiking trail at the Dollendorfer Hardt. The tree did not like this at all, so over time he simply "ate up" the sign. In the meantime the sign is almost completely "swallowed up", only the lowest end of the sign still sticks out of the tree.

The Dollendorfer Hardt is at 246 meters altitude the northernmost mountain of the Siebengebirge. It is mostly wooded, on the western slope above Oberdollendorf are vineyards. Many hiking trails invite you to explore the nature.
