EN (Translation):
"The three-aisled Late Gothic basilica was built in the middle of the 14th century in place of the original chapel, which had become too small, for Brühl became an independent parish in 1274. At the end of the 19th century, the extension took place, inter alia, through the two-aisled transept the church essentially still today the viewer from the outside.
First of all, the clearly structured Gothic structure and the bright spaciousness are particularly impressive inside. The equipment is remarkable: the wooden Ursulaschrein (around 1500), two panel paintings in the choir (around 1510), the Triumphal Cross in the northern aisle (1714), pulpit and organ prospectus (around 1730) and the neo-Gothic high altar from the end of the 19th century. The modern, bright and symbolically strong windows were used in the 60s of the last century to designs by the glass painter Hermann Gottfried.
So St. Margaret is a particularly impressive and beautiful example of a centuries-old living history of faith. "
