"The Sainte-Radegonde church has had an organ since the Middle Ages, and during the Revolution it was destroyed, and it was not until the end of the 19th century that the church was once again equipped with an instrument. It has been built on a remarkable platform of metal structure, of great modernity and typical of this period.
Indeed, in 1892, the construction of a new organ was decided and it is the architect Jean Formigé who is responsible for designing both the grandstand and the neo-Gothic sideboard. The instrument will be inaugurated in 1894. It is then the largest organ of the region, but it quickly shows weaknesses.
In 1944, the shelling shook the building and the organ became unusable. It is renovated, with a new transmission and an aesthetic enlarged by the Poitevin factor Boisseau in 1948.
But again the poor quality of the material makes it almost unusable in part and in 1991 a clumsy renovation of the church roof has the effect of making it completely silent.
The repair of the instrument, which only keeps the facade, is attributed to the house Boisseau-Cattiaux. It was inaugurated in 1997 and its 53 games and 4 keyboards now allow the development of all the old and modern repertoire. "

"L'église Sainte-Radegonde possède un orgue depuis le Moyen Âge. À la Révolution, ce dernier a été détruit. Il faut attendre la fin du XIXe siècle pour que l'église soit à nouveau dotée d'un instrument, cette fois-ci établi sur une remarquable tribune en structure métallique, d'une grande modernité et typique de cette époque.
En effet, en 1892, la construction d'un nouvel orgue est décidée et c'est l'architecte Jean Formigé qui est chargé de concevoir à la fois la tribune et le buffet néo-gothique. L'instrument sera inauguré en 1894. C'est alors le plus grand orgue de la région, mais il montre rapidement des faiblesses.
En 1944, les bombardements ébranlent l'édifice et l'orgue devient inutilisable. Il est rénové, avec une transmission neuve et une esthétique élargie par le facteur poitevin Boisseau en 1948.
Mais à nouveau la mauvaise qualité du matériel le rend bientôt en partie inutilisable et en 1991 une rénovation maladroite de la voûte de l'église a pour conséquence de le rendre totalement muet.
La réfection de l'instrument, dont on ne garde que la façade, est attribuée à la maison Boisseau-Cattiaux. Il est inauguré en 1997 et ses 53 jeux et 4 claviers permettent désormais la mise en valeur de tout le répertoire ancien et moderne."
