FR Les lavoirs de la fontaine Plus-basse, construits à la fin du XVIIe siècle et couverts en 1864-1865, sont les plus grands du département. Construits en contrebas de la place Jean-Jaurès, ils comprennent deux galeries :
* l’une de cinq travées contient cinq bassins étroits ; l’eau qui y coule de robinets muraux passe ensuite sous le sol pour rejoindre les bassins transversaux ;
* l’autre galerie, de trois travées, abrite trois longs bassins transversaux.
EN The wash-houses of the lower fountain, built at the end of the 17th century and covered in 1864-1865, are the largest in the department. Built below the Place Jean-Jaurès, they include two galleries:
* one of five bays contains five narrow basins; The water flowing from the wall taps then passes under the ground to join the transverse basins;
the other gallery, of three spans, shelters three long transverse basins.
