This is one of my favorite fountains in Pittsburgh. Its odd shape reminds me of a volcano. The water cascades down the tiers of the fountain into a pool. At night, it is lit up in multiple vivid colors.
You can find this square across from the Benedum Center and next to the Pittsburgh Public Theater and Parking Garage.
The big round things that look like "sleepy eyes" are actually the back sides of big chairs to sit in when enjoying the fountain.
