C’est entre 1947 et 1948 que la première église des Assemblées de la Pentecôte à Laval débuta sous le nom de l’Église de Pentecôte de Labord-à-Plouffe, sur la 76e avenue à Chomedey.

En 1978, l’église connut une croissance; les locaux à la 76e avenue étant trop petits, l’on décida de faire l’achat d’un nouvel immeuble au 350 des Laurentides à Pont-Viau, Laval. Cette bâtisse était anciennement une pharmacie, ayant un sous-sol spacieux et des bureaux au deuxième étage. L’église s’incorpora en 1978 et changea de nom pour «Centre Évangélique de Laval»

Une nouvelle période de croissance s’est réalisée entre 1978 et 1988. La vision d’une nouvelle bâtisse s’amorça avec un projet de construction. On commença avec l’achat d’un nouveau terrain au 1645 des Laurentides, puis la construction qui débuta en 1988. Les premières réunions eurent lieu au printemps 1989.

Cette nouvelle bâtisse a une capacité de siéger 500 personnes, elle possède un spacieux sous-sol pour les besoins des enfants et des soupers de l’église.

Another growth period came between 1978 and 1988. The vision of a construction project for a brand new building started to take form. A piece of land was first bought at 1645 des Laurentides, and construction started in 1988. The first reunions took place during the Spring of 1989.

This new building can seat 500 people and benefits from a large basement that welcomes children as well as Church parties.
