"House. Dated CV 1692 on small oval plaque on panel. C19 extension to left. Timber frame on high rubble stone base. Rectangular infill panels, rendered to front, with some brick in right gable end and to rear. Thatched roof, central brick chimney. 2 storeys; 2 bays. Ground floor of front has wooden casements, the left of 4-lights with glazing bars, all C20, the right of 3 lights. First floor has horizontal sashes 2-light to left and 3-light to right, and traces of an old window with narrowly spaced wooden mullion. Inset curved principal trusses in gable ends. C19 2-storey bay to left is of brick with thatched roof and has 3-light horizontal sash and door to ground floor. Interior has winder stairs at right end and in line with central chimney, and stop-chamfered spine beam." SOURCE - ( visit link)
