Unweit der Kirche Sankt Maria steht im Ortszentrum von Meckenbeuren auf einen großen Platz das Denkmal zur Erinnerung an die im Ersten Weltkrieg gefallenen Deutschen Soldaten.
Unter einem von zwei Säulen getragenen Dach befindet sich ein Sandsteinrelief mit unterschiedliche Darstellungen auf Vorder- und Rückseite.
In die Säulen sind die Namen der gefallen Soldaten eingelassen.
Not far from the church of St. Mary in the center of Meckenbeuren on a large square stands the monument commemorating the fallen in the First World War German soldiers.
Under a roof supported by two columns is a sandstone relief with different representations on front and back.
In the columns are the names of fallen soldiers taken in.
