This windmill, originally built by the Aermotor Windmill Company, is on display next to the Visitor and Nature Center within Brazos Bend State Park -- located approximately ~30 miles Southwest of Houston, Texas.

It was put on display by the Texas Parks & Wildlife Department, primarily for educational purposes: the Nature Center specializes in teaching children about the surrounding fauna and flora of this marshy region of the state, as well as how early inhabitants were able to make a living in these lands.
