Lift bridge over the Erie Canal located on NY 271 (Main Street) in Middleport.

Built around 1915, this is one of 16 such bridges that were built between Fairport and Lockport. It was constructed by McMyler-Interstate Company of Cleveland, Ohio.

The road bed features a 24 degree skew. This type of bridge is commonly referred to as a bedstead truss bridge. Another feature at the staircases at each end that move with the bridge so that pedestrians can cross even while the bridge is in operation.
