THE MARK IS A FLORIDA STATE ROAD DEPARTMENT SURVEY MARK STAMPED ---B.M. 2---, SET IN THE TOP OF THE SOUTHEAST CONCRETE BRIDGE RAILING OF THE OLD DIXIE HIGHWAY BRIDGE SPANNING TAYLOR CREEK IN THE CITY OF FORT PIERCE.
TO REACH THE MARK FROM THE JUNCTION OF OLD DIXIE HIGHWAY AND U.S. HIGHWAY 1 IN FORT PIERCE, GO 0.2 MI NORTH ALONG OLD DIXIE HIGHWAY TO THE CONCRETE HIGHWAY BRIDGE SPANNING TAYLOR CREEK AND THE MARK ON THE RIGHT. THE MARK IS ABOUT 15 FEET EAST OF THE HIGHWAY CENTERLINE, ABOUT 3 FEET ABOVE THE LEVEL OF OLD DIXIE HIGHWAY, AND IS ABOUT 1 FOOT NORTH OF THE SOUTH END OF THE EAST CONCRETE BRIDGE RAILING.
