Die Villa wurde 1843 von Reg. Ass. Fenner nach einem Entwurf von Peipers (aus Frankfurt) errichtet. Es ist ein zweigeschossiger, kubischer Bau mit Walmdach. Umbauten gab es u.a 1858 (durch Colonel Bakaeff und Christian Holler). Es war auch mal das Sanatorium Dr. Wien (ab 1905). 1928 erfolgte eine Aufstockung um ein Vollgeschoss (Architekt war M. Theophile, Bad Homburg). Die Wandgliederung erfolgt mittels flacher Auflagen an Front und Seite. An der Gebäudeseite finden sich auch ornamentierte Brüstungsfelder.

An der Südseite des Gebäudes, im zweitobersten Stockwerk, ist ein zugemauertes Fenster. Dieses wurde bemalt. Auf den ersten Blick sieht es aus, als schaut ein Mann aus einem echten Fenster und man selber schaut in das Gebäude.
Das Gebäude steht unter Denkmalschutz. (

At the southside of the building are two windows bricked / walled. One of them was painted. One first sight, it appears that a man (with old hat) is looking out of the window, and oneself looks into the building. However, the man wont move, as he is painted.
It is a class listed monument. The painted window is old as well. (
