[c. 9, 22, 24, 10]“

[…] Skoro z každé chaloupky odchází v nedeli 1. srpna bud otec neb syn, opouštejí rodné lány, ty útulné doškové chaloupky, z nichž mnozí se loucili naposledy.“

FOUNDATION OF THE CHOIR OF VOLUNTARY FIREPLACES
At the end of 1899, Josef Vyhnánek, the managing director, submitted a proposal for a meeting to establish a fire brigade in Budweis. A founding committee was set up to prepare everything necessary to establish a church. The founding meeting of the voluntary fire brigade in Budejovice was held on May 13, 1900 in the inn of Jan Zapletal B 18. The congregation recorded 30 active and 42 contributing members. The first chairman was Jan Šimek, B 69; Deputy Chairman and Treasurer Jan Korec, B 17; Chief Josef Prikryl, B 7; after his resignation was elected Chief Josef Páleník ml., B 38; the gunman Antonín Recka, B 79.

On June 11, 1900, a new syringe was introduced from Bohemia under Kosír, which was placed in the old depot opposite the No. 47 farmhouse. The ceremony was officially sanctioned on Sunday, May 25, 1902.

FROM THE FIREPLACE
The first intervention of the fire brigade came on May 24, 1901, during a fire in Rakov. This is how the fire department describes it:
"... it was at night, and when our congregation was already in Raka and the trumpeters blowing on the syringe they burned, the citizens of Rakovski are waking up, and they are half-dressed for the fire."
The first fire fighting in our village was attended by the fire brigade on July 14, 1901, when it burned at Slavíkov. The choir was just at the festival in Ochozi. Check out the fire department again:
"Here the firefighters run directly across the field to Slavík, where the syringe has already been delivered. The fire, however, due to the lack of water and adjacent to the building in the early morning, it has grown to 4 residential buildings ... [no. 9, 22, 24, 10]

And then comes the period of the First World War. The Austro-Hungarian Empire and with it the Czech lands are entering the four-year war of rampage. This is how we call the announcement of mobilization of the fire department:
"31. July at about 3 o'clock in the morning, the silent and quiet nights of the bells of the alarm bell sound. People scared and half-dressed are coming out of the cottage to see where they are burning or what's going on. However, there is no visible fire or the signals of the trumpet are not heard, but there is the drumming of Josef Hamerka, who announces in his notifying way that he gives you from the district council in Litovel that in the Austro-Hungarian Empire he is proclaiming general mobilization, Austrian- the army under 42 years of age must enlist within 48 hours. [...] Almost every cottage leaves on Sunday, August 1, either father or son, leaving their native ropes, the cozy weave cottages, many of whom were the last to say goodbye. "
