John & Gladys Nelson and Vic & Lola Andersen dedication plaque is not far from the entrance to the Harlowton Cemetery. It is located on Airport Drive, NW of Harlowton on Hwy. 12 and H. Avenue NW.

John & Gladys Nelson and Vic & Lola Andersen dedication plaque is inside of the kiosk containing the directory of the Harlowton Cemetery. It is located about 275 feet west after entering the cemetery. It is a small open ended building with a peaked roof for protection from rain, snow or heat.

John R. Nelson was born on December 16, 1918 and passed away on May 20, 1993, he was 74 years of age.
Gladys S. Muller Nelson was born in 1918 and passed away in 1987, she was about 69 years of age.

Vic Andersen was born in 1897 and passed away in 1944, he was about 47 years of age.
Lola Andersen was born in 1907 and passed away in 1997, she was about 90 years of age.

Harlowton Cemetery is in Wheatland County, Montana. Harlowton is the county seat of Wheatland County with a population of approximately 997 residents. Harlowton was founded in 1900 as a station stop on the Montana Railroad.

Harlowton and surrounding areas are rich in agriculture with the majority of crops grown are wheat and barley. Harlowton is surrounded by the Crazy, Little Belt and Big Snowy Mountains.

Harlowton Cemetery is approximately 8.5 acres in size with towering pine trees throughout the cemetery. It is very well maintained. There are approximately 2,024 known interments part of which is a Veterans section.
