This fountain is located in the central, classy area of Shanghai City. The fountain is circular, ~5metres across, and a central water jet. The distinctive feature of the fountain are three statues that represent the Chinese folklore figures of: Peace, Fortune, and Prosperity.
The statues are life-sized (human life-sized that is), garbed in flowing robes, and are blank-faced. Evocative? They were crafted by the Dutch Chinese sculptress Wu Ching-ju.
This is an upmarket cafe area. The fountain is popular as a selfie locale.
