On the outskirts of the city of Bad Homburg is this deer-park. A fence surrounds the area of the animals: Big and small deer as well as similar fallow deer live there day and night, summer and winter. You may walk around the fence, but, do not cross it.
Children and their parents love it when the animals are close to the fence and they can feed them. An information board tells you what food you can give to the animals (and what you shall not feed). And if you are careful, you can pet the animal while you feed them trough the fence.
Obviously, you can not pick up the deer or go riding on it. And do not go inside the fenced area - this will endanger the animals and yourself.
