Marble wall marker inscribed with the names of 46 local men who died while serving in the Royal Italian Army and Navy during World War I.
Main monument text reads:

The winged lion of Venice is featured atop the marker.
There are two smaller marble plaques just below the main marker.
The one on the left denotes that:
" The Franciscan community and the Knights of San Marcos remember the fallen of all the wars"
The one on the right denotes that:
"On the evening of June 23, 1797 was shot IN this field the bishop of the Venetian Navy who opposed the Napoleonic troops the Alpine GRUPPE of Zadar and Venice
