Thomas JEFFERSON est né le 13 avril 1743 à Shadwell (colonie de Virginie) et mort le 4 juillet 1826 à Monticello (Virginie).
Ce fut le troisième président des États-Unis, de 1801 à 1809. Jefferson a contribué à la Déclaration d'indépendance des États-Unis, son positionnement en faveur de la liberté religieuse et de la tolérance dans son État de Virginie et l'acquisition de la Louisiane sous sa présidence.

Thomas JEFFERSON was born on April 13, 1743 in Shadwell (Virginia colony) and died July 4, 1826 in Monticello, Virginia.
This was the third president of the United States, from 1801 to 1809. Jefferson contributed to the United States Declaration of Independence, its positioning for religious freedom and tolerance in his state of Virginia and the acquisition of Louisiana under his presidency.
