Fischbachtalweiher - Saarbrücken, Germany - Fishing Holes on Waymarking.com

Originally built as a bedding down basin for a coal mine not far away, this and other basins were converted into ponds and biotopes.

This biggest pond is a fishing hole as well as an idyllic bird resting place.

Fischbachtalweiher fishing hole is operated by the ASV Fischbach fishing club.
Fishes are roach and bream.

If you're non-member of the fishing club, you need to buy a one day-fishing permission.
