The Leak-Wall House was built in 1853 by John Wall. It is one of the oldest houses in Rockingham. Befitting his place in the local society, the home had a nice garden on the eastern exposure. The sundial is in the rear portion of the garden area. Sitting on a pedestal, the sundial is not likely original to the property. It has an orientation compass and the numerals are Arabic.
