Plainview School is a building on the campus of Plainview High School at the intersection of S. Plainview Road and Myall SW. The building is currently the Fine Arts Center. It was constructed in 1935 by the WPA.
This is a one-story limestone building, approximately 170 x 58 feet, with a flat roof. The building currently has a gabled red metal roof added. The entrance which faces South is slightly recessed and has two metal and glass doors with a large fixed transom. A limestone portico has been added in front of the entrance, which is not original to the school.
The windows are set in three's with each unit being four-over-two single hung, with concrete sills. The school was originally a 10-room schoolhouse.
