Lunan Bay is a large inlet of the North Sea on the coast of Angus between the towns of Arbroath and Montrose. Its beach, backed by sand dunes, is a three mile oasis in what is a stretch of coastline dominated by red sandstone cliffs.
This sign can be found at the car park offering access to the beach. The car park is near the hamlet of Lunan and lies on the landward side of the dunes. The sign is on the boardwalk that leads to the beach.
Apart from the map there is also information and a photographs of Lunan Bay and the nearby ruins of Red Castle.
