This is a neatest sculpture and says a lot about the settling of the West.

This sculpture is standing tall in front of the Bank of Western Oklahoma at 2805 Williams Avenue in Woodward.
The figures are mounted atop a large pile of rocks, with a retaining wall which reads "Binding Contract". The sculpture depicts two cowboys on horseback, dressed in the traditional cowboy garb and Stetson hats. Between them is a rail fence. They are reaching out across the fence and shaking hands, signifying a binding agreement the two have made, back when a man's handshake and word was legally binding.
This is a great sculpture and says so much. The artist is Bradford J. Williams who specializes in Western sculptures, some with comical emphasis, and many with a statement. (
