I recovered this U.S. Geological Survey benchmark from 1915 in good condition. It is a gold-colored disk monumented on top of a small curbing projecting out from the base of SE corner the Masonic building facing W 6th Street. This disk is also listed on a topography map as 'BM 1264' and has the elevation '1262.875' stamped on its face. The NGS datasheet description is adequate for station recovery. My posted coordinates will place you very close to this mark.
