Det 16 meter høje betonfyr blev bygget i 1894 og erstattede et fyr opført i 1872.
Oprindeligt var fyret udstyret med et linseapparat men blev i 1905 erstattet af en glødenets brænder. Fyret blev fuldt automatiseret i 1984. Fyret har en lysevne på 16 sømil.
The 16 meter high lighthouse was built in 1894 and replaced an older light house from 1872.
Originally the lighthouse had a lens but got a mantle in 1905. In 1984 the lighthouse was fully automated. The light can be seen 16 nautical miles away.
