Peak Crève-Coeur is an old volcano 200 meters high (appeared 18 million years ago ... much older than the Montagne Pelée for example, which she is only 350 000 years old).
Although very short and without difficulty, this walk requires to be equipped with "real" shoes (walking shoes or tennis).
This walk is located in the driest part of Martinique. It can therefore be carried out practically at any time of the year.
Provide water and what to protect from the sun. Superb panorama from the top, with views of the Caribbean Sea, the dizzying Larcher and the Diamond Rock to the West, the St. Lucia Canal to the South and the Atlantic Ocean to the East.
"Dry" vegetation: shrubs, agaves, succulents, etc.

Bien que très courte et sans difficulté, cette promenade nécessite d'être équipé de "vraies" chaussures (chaussures de marche ou tennis).
Cette promenade se situe dans la partie la plus sèche de la Martinique. Elle peut donc être effectuée pratiquement à toute période de l'année.
Prévoir de l'eau et de quoi se prémunir du soleil. Superbe panorama depuis le sommet, avec vue sur la mer Caraïbe, le morne Larcher et le rocher du Diamant à l'Ouest, le canal de Sainte-Lucie au Sud et l'océan Atlantique à l'Est.
Végétation "sèche": arbustes, agaves, plantes grasses, etc.
