EN: This life-sized wooden sculpture of a lion stands in the southern part of the village of Diegten next to the main road on a stone block.
Unfortunately, there is no information about the artist. Although Diegten has a lion in the municipal coat of arms, I do not know if that has any relation to this sculpture.
DE: Diese lebensgrosse Holzskulptur eines Löwen steht im südlichen Dorfteil von Diegten neben der Hauptstrasse auf einem Steinblock.
Es gibt leider keinerlei Informationen über den Künstler. Diegten hat zwar einen Löwen im Gemeindewappen, aber ob es einen Zusammenhang mit dieser Skulptur hat, weiss ich nicht.
