EN: This wayside cross stands opposite the Schönmatt, an excursion restaurant in the agricultural area north of Gempen. The stone cross has a figure with naturally painted colors. Over the crossbar, a year number is engraved in antiquated, hard to read numerals. It could be 1841.
DE: Dieses Wegkreuz steht gegenüber der Schönmatt, ein Ausflugsrestaurant im Landwirtschaftsgebiet nördlich von Gempen. Das Steinkreuz hat eine Figur mit natürlich bemalten Farben. Über den Querbalken ist eine Jahreszahl in altertümlichen, schwer lesbaren Ziffern eingraviert. Es könnte 1841 sein.
