Metal Archway with "Oldest Post in Texas" in the curved arch and "VFW Post 76" straight across with a large star in between. Archway leads to steps that go down to the Riverwalk. There is a metal gate that can be closed and locked to prevent access to the VFW post. Next to the arch is a metal plaque.

Sergeant Manuel Luera
United States Army
Sergeant Luera proudly served his country
from 1942 to 1946 and participated in combat
operations in the Pacific Theater
during WWII.

List if there are any visiting hours: Archway can be seen 24/7 from the Riverwalk. The Memorial Plaque is inside the fence and can only be viewed when the VFW is open.
