Praha-Dejvice (formerly Bruska at Lány Horse-powered Railway) is the oldest railway station (
visit link) in Prague, (the second one is Prague – Masaryk Railway Station).
It has been in operation since 1830. Originally, the Lány Horse-powered Railway, which was mainly driven by wood from the Krivoklát forest, started here.
The first Czech president T. G. Masaryk used this station to travel to the Lány castle.
In the area there is preserved the oldest building from 1831 and the water reservoir from 1872. It had a boiler on the ground floor with and a chimney through a steel water tank placed on the floor. It is the oldest railway water reservoir in Prague.
The current building was built in 1873. The middle floor is adjacent to two wings, ending with pavilion pavilions. On the west side of the ground floor there is a presidential lounge, with a separate platform and a street with a small access ramp.

Nejstarší pražské nádraží stojí v Dejvicích, v provozu je od roku 1830. Puvodne tady zacínala nákladní Lánská konesprežka, po které se vozilo hlavne drevo z Krivoklátských lesu. Za první republiky nádraží využíval prezident Masaryk pro cesty do lánského zámku.
Nádraží Praha-Dejvice je nejstarším pražským nádražím. Trat, u které budova nádraží stojí, mela puvodne spojit Prahu s Plzní, do té doby mela predevším sloužit k doprave dreva z krivoklátských lesu. Od kvetna 1830 zde jezdila konesprežka na úseku z Prahy do Kladna a pak dál z Kladna do Lán. Z této doby pochází i puvodní nádražní budova, která v upravené podobe dosud stojí za kolejištem naproti soucasné budove.
Od roku 1855 prechází dráha na parostrojní pohon a nazývá se dále Buštehradská dráha. Roku 1868 byla železnice prodloužena pres tunel v Královské obore do nádraží Praha-Bubny, odkud bylo pres Negrelliho viadukt spojení na Státní, dnes Masarykovo nádraží. V šedesátých letech byla nejprve prestavena puvodní budova, poté pristaven vodojem (1872) a konecne 1873 postavena nová budova nádraží. V soucasné dobe se zvažuje využití dráhy do Kladna a její premena na rychlodráhu.
Za první republiky nádraží využíval prezident T. G. Masaryk pro cesty do lánského zámku. Roku 1927 zde byl zrízen prezidentský salonek s príjezdovou rampou a samostatným nástupištem.
Stanice je velmi casto vybírána jako lokace pro filmování historických filmu, domácích i zahranicních. Zahrálo si napríklad v seriálu Major Zeman, Vlak detství a nadeje, Rozpuštený a vypuštený, Hríšní lidé mesta pražského, Operace Silver A, Poslední vlak a v rade dalších filmu.
