The history of this building and clock is stated as being completed on June 12th 1878. The building was the Town Hall for the village of Mexico for many, many years. By appearances, this (to me) does not give the impression of being the original clock dated from 1878, it appears to be newer than that, however, I have not been able to verify that it has been replaced or updated. It still keeps accurate time and appears to be well maintained. From the signage on the front of the building, it appears that the building, more recently, was used by the local masons as their meeting place. It is located on State Route 104 near the corner of Church Street.
