In the Middle Ages, the house was part of a larger object (the court of the Archbishop of Mainz), which originally occupied the site home 5/282, 7/281, 9/280 and 11/179; the house was renaissance and rebuilt in the Baroque style around 1720, today's façade is late Classicist.
