This adjustable sign keeps tabs on the fire danger risk for the City.

This is a sign approximately three feet square mounted on the west side of City Hall, to the south of a fire department vehicle bay.
The sign has a commercially painted picture of Smokey with his shovel, and the wording "Fire Danger Today is..." and "Only you can prevent wildfires". There is a danger level number which can be dialed to the day's appropriate hazard.
The levels shown are: Extreme, Very High, High, Moderate and Low. The day of our visit, the fire danger was shown in the green as LOW.
