The Etna Historical Museum website highlights its history and reads:

The Museum of the Native Daughters of the Golden West, Eschscholtzia Parlor No. 112, is located on Main Street, Etna, California.

The building, was built for the first town Hall, which also housed the fire department, library and jail, was built to resemble Independence Hall in Philadelphia.

I've been in touch with a couple of museum volunteers and if/when I obtain more history on this building as a former fire department and when it retired, I'll update the info in the variables below.

Current Use: Museum

Is it open to the public?: Yes

Location: Etna, CA

Year Originally Built: Not listed

Year Retired: Not listed

Visit Instructions:
You must actually visit the building to post a log. Post your own, current photo of the converted firehouse as proof of your visit. It can't be the exact same photo that is on the waymark page.
