It seems recently they have built an entire park for a memorial, this is the old one on the courthouse lawn.

DEDICATED TO THOSE WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES IN THE CAUSE OF FREEDOM
Each column is topped with the seal of only four of the branches of the military
and WW I starts on the first column, with WW II taking the center two columns and the last column hold the names of the Korean War and Vietnam War KIA's.

Marker Text: DEDICATED TO THOSE WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES IN THE CAUSE OF FREEDOM
Date of dedication: May 30, 1988
Who Put it Here?: VFW Post #1084; American Legion Post #102; & Benton County
Description of Memorial: Memorial is four flat columns of marble rising up from a two step marble base resting upon the concrete sidewalk of the courthouse lawn.
Across the top of the four columns is a single elongated square block of marble upon which are the text of the memorial.
The four columns are blank on the backside, with the World War I on column one; World War II on columns two and three; with the Korean War and Vietnam lost on column four.
