Numbered marker is on the pole of the historical marker in the courtyard of the church next to the fountain. Access is from the parking lot behind the church.
Historical Marker:
In 1859 the members bought this property and began a frame church which was not completed until after the Civil War. The building was used by local Methodists and Baptists and was replaced by a second frame structure in 1902. By 1942 a brick sanctuary, educational building and parsonage were completed.
