Church Website

The first sanctuary opened in 1889 and welcomed charter members: B.C. Hall, Sr., Mank Ellis, Mant Ellis, J.B. Fitzgerald, and Dr. J.F Baugh. In those early years Laura Fitzgerald Mahynard traveled the community by horse and buggy collecting funds to furnish the church.

As the community grew, so did the church and a larger building was needed. In 1953 a new sanctuary was constructed and in 1976 new wings were added for Sunday School rooms and a Fellowship Hall.

In 1979 the sanctuary was enlarged and a new wing with six classrooms was added. In 1993 a new youth wing was added.

In 2005 the church moved into its present sanctuary.

In 2015 the church purchased the property formerly owned by First Baptist Chandler. Renovation will be completed in 2017.
