This is a very simple memorial, a 15' foot obelisk made of white marble. On all four sides is:

There is no indication as to a date of placement, but the base is similar to that of the World War I memorial that stands next to this memorial. That one was placed in 1923, so this memorial was probably placed around the same time, give or take a few years. Pelham Park was once used as a reunion grounds when the Confederate veterans were still alive
