DESCRIBED BY COAST AND GEODETIC SURVEY 1963 (VBM) THE STATION IS LOCATED ON A FAIRLY HIGH HILL, THAT IS GRASS COVERED ON THE EAST SIDE AND HAS AN ORCHARD ACROSS THE TOP AND ON THE WEST SIDE. IT IS ABOUT 9-1/2 MILES NORTH OF LITTLETON, ABOUT 9-1/2 MILES SOUTHEAST OF CAMERON, ABOUT 4.0 MILES NORTHEAST OF THE VILLAGE OF BELTON AND ABOUT 0.1 MILE WEST OF THE WEST VIRGINIA-PENNSYLVANIA STATE LINES. IT IS 18 FEET EAST OF ONE OF LARGEST APPLE TREES IN ORCHARD, 7 FEET SOUTHEAST OF A SMALL PEACH TREE AND 8 FEET SOUTH OF A DIM ORCHARD ROAD. IT IS ON THE PROPERTY OF MRS. HAZEL GREGG. THE MONUMENT IS 18 INCHES UNDERGROUND AND THE DISK IS STAMPED GRASS 1963. TO REACH FROM THE RAILROAD CROSSING, JUST WEST OF THE RAILROAD STATION IN CAMERON, GO SOUTH, EAST AND SOUTH ON U.S. HIGHWAY 250 FOR 2.85 MILES TO SUMMIT OF A GRADE AND A SIGN ON THE RIGHT ROADSIDE PARK 1 MILE, CONTINUE ON HIGHWAY FOR 0.6 MILE TO THE VILLAGE OF BIG RUN. CONTINUE SOUTHERLY ON U.S. HIGHWAY 250 FOR 1.0 MILE TO A SIDE ROAD LEFT AT SIGN WOODRUFF ROAD, TURN LEFT AND GO EAST AND SOUTHEAST ON WOODRUFF ROAD FO 1.5 MILES TO RAILROAD TRACKS AND THE VILLAGE OF WOODRUFF. CROSS TRACKS AND KEEP RIGHT AND FOLLOW MAIN ROAD SOUTHEAST AND NORTHEAST FOR 0.5 MILE TO A ROAD RIGHT, TURN RIGHT AND GO SOUTH AND SOUTHEAST ON ROCKY ROAD FOR 0.9 MILE TO A DRIVEWAY TO THE RIGHT AND MAIN ROAD TURNS LEFT, KEEP LEFT WITH MAIN ROAD AND GO 0.2 MILE TO A T-INTERSECTION, TURN SHARP LEFT AND GO EAST ON ROAD FOR 0.15 MILE TO A SIDE ROAD RIGHT, CONTINUE AHEAD FOR 0.05 MILE TO THE GREGGS HOME ON THE RIGHT. TURN LEFT ONTO FIELD ROAD AND GO WEST UPHILL FOR 0.15 MILE TO THE ORCHARD AND THE STATION. TO REACH THE AZIMUTH MARK FROM THE MAIN ROAD 0.15 MILE EAST OF THE STATION, GO NORTH AND EAST ON THE GRAVEL ROAD FOR 0.7 MILE TO A CHURCH ON THE RIGHT, CONTINUE ON THE GRAVEL ROAD FOR 0.2 MILE TO A SIDE ROAD RIGHT AND DIRT ROAD PASSING BETWEEN TWO BARNS, PASS BETWEEN THE BARNS ON DIRT ROAD AND GO 0.2 MILE TO THE AZIMUTH MARK ON THE RIGHT AS DESCRIBED. REFERENCE MARK 1 IS 64 FEET SOUTH OF THE DIM ORCHARD ROAD AND 2 FEET SOUTHWEST OF A 10 INCH DRILL CASING. THE MONUMENT IS FLUSH AND THE DISK IS STAMPED GRASS NO 1 1963. REFERENCE MARK 2 IS 4 FEET EAST OF THE APPLE TREE AND 19 FEET SOUTH OF THE CENTERLINE OF THE DIM ORCHARD ROAD. THE MONUMENT IS FLUSH AND THE DISK IS STAMPED GRASS NO 2 1963. THE AZIMUTH MARK IS 2 FEET SOUTHWEST OF A WOODEN FENCE, 81 FEET NORTHEAST OF THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF A FRAME HOUSE, 47 FEET EAST OF A POWER POLE WITH TRANSFORMER AND 3 FEET SOUTH OF A WITNESS POST. THE MARK IS ON THE PROPERTY OF MR. JAMES STROPE. THE MONUMENT PROJECTS 1 INCH AND THE DISK IS STAMPED GRASS 1963.
