This memorial is one of two at this site, although this one specifically honors those in the World War II and Korean Conflicts of the Cooperstown Community, not the sportsmens club. The memorial is of a standard one as it is just a stone with a bronze tablet that features the basic roll call.

According to the Club's website and Facebook Page, (visit link) , "The Coop (Cooperstown Vets & Sportsmen Association) is a members only club. Members may bring and sign in guests. Memberships are obtained with the referral of a member in good standing and approved by the Cooperstown Vets & Sportsmen Association Board. The club hosts many events and outings for its members and guests.
Several leagues and teams are formed for activities such as bowling, shuffle board, cards etc…"
