Standing on the south side of E. Walnut Street, between Broadway and 4th, this sign is just north of the town water tower.
The day we arrived, the sign read: "Fire Danger LOW today! Prevent Wildfires." Standing next to these words was Smokey, with his ranger hat, Smokey belt buckle and shovel. The word "LOW" can be changed to meet each day's weather conditions. The sign faces both directions.
