This is a tall 'pink rose-coloured' granite obelisk for those who served in World War One. On the south face of the Obelisk, below a bronze laurel wreath, in gilded lettering are the TWENTY ONE locals of Lang Lang who went to World War One, and were Killed In Action. They are:
