Zwei Leergutautomaten im EDEKA Markt Bad Steben
DE

In the emptying department of the EDEKA branch in Bad Steben are two vending machine for customers availavle for recycling bins. The vending machine accepts individual bottles as well as complete crates. Supported are PET bottles, glass bottles and also tin cans. According to the emptied empties, the printout is then printed with the Pledge Amount, which can then be charged either at the cash desk with the purchase, or you go to the information and the amount can be paid out.
The machine first separates the inserted objects for PET, glass and sheet metal. For this purpose, there are different outputs on the conveyor belt for each type at which they leave the belt. Then the PET bottles and tin cans are pressed and reduced. They are then stored in large plastic bags. These bags are then picked up several times a week by trucks, which then deliver the recyclable materials to recycling companies, where they then flow back into the production line and then land again as a new beverage bottle / can in the trade some time later.
