Built by J.J. Daniels in 1861, Jackson Bridge is the longest covered bridge in Indiana. It is named after, and dedicated to, Andrew Jackson.

A double Burr Arch Truss with double king post, this bridge is 207 feet long and has a vertical clearance of 18 feet. The span crosses Sugar Creek about 2.5 miles northwest of the town of Annapolis, IN.
The bridge was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978.

Description of Covered Bridge: The bridge was restored in 1977 but has sustained damage since then. It is still passable but is in need of repair. Much of the white exterior paint is gone.
