This horizontal marker was placed by the National Capital Commission (NCC) on the southeast corner of the cement pad which supports the pavilion for the Trans Canada Trail. That pavilion construction only dates back to the 1990s. Since then, the surface of the survey marker has been sanded off. This marker is not in the federal or géodeq databases.
