Planet teaching path Wedel - the solar system in about six kilometers in length
The vast dimensions of space and our solar system are unimaginable. Along the protective dike, starting in Wedel on the Deichstraße and ending at the Hetlinger Schanze, these dimensions become a little more tangible thanks to the planetary path established here.
At a distance of almost six kilometers, ten planetary models are lined up, each with visual and tactile maps (The scale is 1: 1000 000 000 (billion)). This will also give people with disabilities access to the information.
The planet teaching path was the first of its kind in Schleswig-Holstein and Hamburg as the ABM project of the Employment Association for Work and Learning Hamburg (ALH) and is an action to promote tourism for the disabled.
