Im Spät-Sommer ist es nur ein kleiner Bach; im Frühjahr - nach der Schneeschmelze - ist er deutlich größer.
Bis hierher, zur Höflehütte bzw. Untere Biberalp, kann man noch gut mit dem Fahrrad fahren. Danach wird es steiler - Schieben oder Elektroantrieb wäre noch möglich für die Sportlichen. Aber Wandern ab hier ist meistens schneller.

In late summer and autumn this is a small river only. But in spring times, when all the snow from the mountain is melting, lots of water is flowing in this river. There would be not enough way below the road. Thus the river is if always flowing above the street.
Only for pedestrians a small wooden bridge is available. The bridge is portable and is taken away before the river gets bigger from snow melting - otherwise it would be taken away by all the water.
