The campsite is located directly at the banks of the river Elbe (Stover Strand). It was founded in 1960 and since then is run as a family-business. It is a very small campsite in front of the dike, with direkt access to the river Elbe. At low tide a sandbank falls dry on which you can play and swim in the river Elbe.
