The grave of RMS Titanic victim J. Dawson in Fairview Lawn Cemetery in Halifax, Nova Scotia has achieved a cult following since the release of the James Cameron's epic romance and disaster film "Titanic."

In James Cameron's epic romance-disaster film "Titanic", Leonardo DiCaprio played the ill fated, lead, fictional character called Jack Dawson. Since the release of the film Titanic many people has flocked to the grave marked J. Dawson to pay homage to the man they have come to believe is the Jack Dawson character played by Leonardo DiCaprio. The grave has so many visitors that there is a conspicuous lack of grass in front of the grave.
In actually, J. Dawson was James Dawson, 23 year old coal stoker on the Titanic. His body, #227, was recovered by the cable ship MacKay-Bennett and his brought to Halifax for burial.
His grave marker is simply inscribed:
